Hello everyone! My name is Karina Grace, and let me begin this post by saying how thrilled I am to be the newest member of the Joyfully You team! Since you don’t know much about me yet, I thought it would be a good idea to tell you a bit about myself. I am a sixteen-year-old who loves blogging, photography, listening to vinyl records, and Jesus! Through my blog, Merciful Moments, I was able to meet the fantabulous Hadassah, which led me here to Joyfully You! Now that we are better acquainted it’s time to get on with the post!
I am a freeze baby. It could be 80 degrees outside and I would still be cold. When it gets cold outside I like to bring out my scarves, which are supposed to keep one warm but, they don’t always do their job. Thankfully, someone invented a wonderfully warm accessory called the blanket scarf! When I first heard about these magical scarves I knew I had to have one because not only do they feel and look warm, but they’re blankets that can be fashionably worn! Now that is what I call a good scarf. I bought my first blanket scarf A.S.A.P. but soon realized that I had no idea how to tie one so I had to ask my good friend, Pinterest, to help me out. Today, I am going to help you save time by teaching you how to quickly tie a blanket scarf in five different ways.
Begin the first look by folding your square-shaped blanket scarf into a triangle.
Next, drape it across your neck.
Then, wrap the scarf around your neck so that the triangle part is pointing down to the ground.
Begin look #2 by starting with look #1.
Next, take the two ends and tie them into a knot.
There you have it! Look #2 is complete.
All you have to do for this look is drape your blanket scarf across shoulders so that the triangle part is in the back. How easy is that?! You can also add a belt around the blanket scarf for a bit of pizzazz.
For this look, all you have to do is drape your blanket scarf across your shoulders and tie the two ends together in a knot.
Begin this look by folding your square-shaped blanket scarf in half.
Next, drape the scarf across your shoulders and tuck one of the ends underneath the opposite side.
And voila! You now have a fashionable
blanket shawl across your shoulders.
Now that you have learned how to tie a blanket scarf in several different ways it’s time to put that knowledge to use! Let me know in the comments below if you own a blanket scarf in your wardrobe or if you will soon become a new owner of one!
