It’s Julianne here again! Last year I did a collection of some of my favorite Spring hairstyles. I had such a fun time sharing those with you all; so, I’m back with five of my new favorites!
Spring is such a fun time, and I always love to change my wardrobe and hairstyles to reflect the new life and beauty! What is your favorite season?
I’m really excited to share these new hairstyles with you all! I’ve been seeing them all over the place. They are so cute and fashionable! Also, they don’t look too hard to actually do! So, hopefully, you’ll give them a try!
Double Headband French Braids
This hairstyle looks so beautiful and feminine! The two french braids provide a soft and sweet style. Headband braids are always a favorite of mine! They allow you to have hair down to frame your face, yet they also show you put some thought into your hairstyle. (It’s not like my normal routine half-up) 😉 As Missy Sue suggested in her post, this french braid headband could also look good as a dutch or a fishtail braid!
Dutch Braided Ponytail
Scarfs have been all the rage recently! I love how this hairstyle combines the current fashion with an easy yet beautiful dutch braid ponytail. On this same tutorial page, Abby Smith actually posted nine more similar scarf hairstyles if you like this style. As dutch braids are easy and quick to create, I see this as a perfect hairstyle when you are getting ready for Church on Sunday morning!
Crown Twist Braid
I was so excited when I saw this hairstyle!!! It combines the classic milkmaid braid idea with the unique twists! I could see this hairstyle as perfect for church, a more formal dance/party, photoshoot, etc! So many opportunities! Also, if you want to make it look even more springy, you could add a few smaller flowers like Baby’s Breaths, Violets, Lily of the Valley, etc.
Waterfall braids are one of my all time favorite hairstyles! I’ve worn them for many, many years, but I still love it! I use to do this hairstyle almost every week in the car as I drove to church and my speech and debate club.😃 Essentially, you are just doing a french braid, and then pull out a piece from the bottom strand after every stitch! Super easy and gorgeous!
Topsy Tail Ponytail
I can’t get over this hairstyle! It is sooo pretty and intricate looking; however, from reading the directions, it seems like the actual process would be fairly easy! Topsy tails or little inverted ponytails were a common hairstyle in my family as I and my 2 sisters grew up. This hairstyle just uses that technique and elaborates off of it. If you examine the hairstyle, it is just about six inverted ponytails alternating left and right! I think this would be the perfect hairstyle for any formal event. If you wanted to dress it down a little, you could skip the flowers; however, I think they add the perfect soft and sweet touch. 😊
What do you think of these hairstyles? Which is your favorite? I really hope you give some of these a try! Let me know if you all do!
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you all have a blessed Spring day!
