Hello, my friends! It’s Julianne here again!
I hope you all are doing well! I can’t believe it is already NOVEMBER!!! Where did the time go? 😄 What has been your favorite part of fall so far? I got to go to a corn maze and fall pumpkin market in the beautiful hills of West Virginia about two weeks ago with some friends!
Today I have a super fun post for you all! Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to try and then review a beautiful teal scrunchie handmade by UnicoScrunchies. Unfortunately because of covid, Clare, who creates the scrunchies on UnicoScrunchies, was kept from shipping internationally until this week. Because Christmas is coming up, I thought it would be the perfect time to share my review of her product!
This velvet teal scrunchie is so pretty! The scrunchie arrived fairly quickly (especially because of the international travel). As soon as I pulled out the scrunchie, I could tell it is excellent quality. The velvet is very soft, and the stitching is clean and precise. Also, unlike some other scrunchies I’ve used before, the elastic in this one is stretchy and does not give out easily. I’ve been using this scrunchie for several months now, and it works just as well now as when I first received it!
Caroline K., who was very glad to have me back from school and a willing recipient to her hairstyling practices 😊, made a French braided bun using this scrunchie. I wore the hairstyle for the rest of the day to test how the scrunchie would feel in my hair. I have thick and heavy hair, which sometimes means hairbands seem to pinch and pull my hair more than on my sisters’ hair. However, this band didn’t do that at all. I’ve also worn this with other hairstyles, including the typical medium-high ponytail many times, and it doesn’t hurt or leave a huge and annoying crease through my entire hair. 😀
Clare is also super nice! Her customer service is outstanding, and she is a really sweet young lady — definitely the type of person you can be glad to support. 😉
Also, guys! Clare has been working on a lot more styles of scrunchies! I just recently was looking at her Etsy shop, and there are so many gorgeous ones – including some Christmas ones! You should go look at them! These would be great gifts for sisters and friends. You could even get a few as a fun accessory to add to your own collection. 😄
If you would like to purchase something to arrive by Christmas (delays still due to covid) the cut off dates are:
